Free speech values

Section 230 is a statute, not a constitutional amendment. But it interacts with the First Amendment in a way that is easy to overlook.

If Section 230 is hollowed out through state-by-state workarounds, we do not get a carefully debated national standard. We get a patchwork where the most aggressive jurisdiction can set de facto rules for everyone.
