Q104. "On what day does the electoral college meet to cast their votes? I have heard early January, but I have also heard December."
A. By law it is in December: "The electors ... shall meet and give their votes on the first Monday after the second Wednesday in December..." This is found in the U.S. Code, 3 USC 7.
